NOTICE! It has unfortunately become apparent to the Committee that Valdora Community Hall is not a suitable venue for amplified music events and will no longer accept applications for hire which include entertainment that produces exceptional noise possibilities. Whilst no one objects to the Hall hosting various types of events and everyone having a good time at the event, it is surrounded closely by neighbours of families, retirees and workers who value the quiet country life that Valdora has to offer, particularly at night time. If you have doubts or questions please do not hesitate to talk to our Booking Officer.

Valdora Community Hall is classed as a "Business - Venues used for private hire"
All Hirers must make sure they abide by the latest restrictions.

HIRE FEES

  • Community Clubs & Social Groups i.e. playgroups, book clubs, Card/games Clubs etc - $30 per 4 hours.
    DEFINITION OF A COMMUNITY EVENT - A Free (or low cost to cover Hall hire expenses) Event organised by a community member for no commercial gain. Your event can be shared with the Valdora Hall Facebook Page. Please note that a regular Community Event may be cancelled at the discretion of the Hall Committee to accommodate a higher paying event. A minimum of 2 weeks warning will be provided to the organiser of the Community Event if this is to happen.

  • Weddings, birthdays, re-unions, wakes etc - $16.50 per hr incl GST OR $110 incl GST for 8 hours.

  • Commercial Event (single one-off) $22 per hour incl GST OR $150 incl GST for 8 hours.

  • Commercial Event (regular, on-going) i.e. paid for classes etc (eg Yoga, Pilates, Meditation etc) - $25 per 2hr incl GST

  • To reserve the Hall as a wet weather back up for an event - $25 non refundable deposit if booked more than 7 days in advance which will be deducted from the Hire if the Hall is used for the event.

A BOND WILL BE CHARGED FOR SOME EVENTS and SET UP & CLEAN UP TIME IS TO BE INCLUDED IN HIRE TIME
